MKT 3273 - Fashion Retail Management


Description: Merchandise buying and planning procedures used by fashion retail stores.  The course focuses on budgeting, open-to-buy, allocations, assortment planning, inventory control, import/domestic production issues, and a study of store buying departments.  Store operations, inventory shrinkage, markdown theory, and seasonal stock rotation are covered.

Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite: MKT 3213 Principles of Marketing with a minimum grade of C.
