HDFS 3623 - Challenges in the Family CIP Code: 190701 Description: Students develop an understanding of family and community as central to working with children, birth to age three. Students explore major theoretical frameworks for studying families in crisis and outline coping skills and community resources to support diverse families in crises.
Credit Hours: 3 Prerequisite: PSYC 1003 Introduction to Human Behavior or PSYC 1113 Introduction to Psychology with a minimum grade of C.
