NUTR 3201 - Food Safety CIP Code: 513101 Description: Students learn safe food production practices governed by federal and state regulation including prevention of food-borne illness, proper handling of potentially hazardous foods, avoiding contamination, personal hygiene practices, time temperature abuse, and maintaining food safety standards throughout the flow of commercial food preparation. Upon completion of the course, students will take the National Restaurant Association (NRA) ServSafe examination.
