WGS 4950 - Internship CIP Code: 050207 Description: Students gain practical experience while applying knowledge, theories, and skills learned in Women’s and Gender Studies courses in a professional setting. Students should arrange their schedules to allow for an internship of commensurate number of clock hours to equal the value of credit hours for the semester at a professional site chosen in consultation with the faculty program coordinator.
Credit Hours: 1-6 Lecture contact hours per week: Other: Clock hours to equal the value of credit hours for the semester. Prerequisite: WGS 2123 Introduction to Women’s and Gender Studies. Restrictions: WGS minors. Note: May be repeated for a maximum of 6 credit hours.
