HIST 4993 - Historical Internship

3 Hours. Practical experience at an approved public or private historical museum or site. Other locations/facilities may be considered on an individual basis. Available to students with a major in history, with junior or senior standing, and 12 hours of advanced (3000/4000) history courses. Approval of instructor and department chair required by the end of the semester prior to the internship semester. Not for major or minor credit. May be repeated for a maximum of six hours credit. Graded by pass/fail.
