Description: Students explore emergency management concepts of response and recovery and their overall integration into development of disaster and crisis planning for government agencies, non-government organizations, and the commercial sector. Students examine individual, community and governmental efforts pertaining to response and recovery through case studies of historic, contemporary, and predicted disasters, to develop a holistic and integrated approach in response and recovery.
