Description: Teacher candidates will explore ethical and legal guidelines, use effective classroom routines and procedures, utilize a range of preventive and responsive practices to prevent adverse behaviors, conduct functional behavior assessments and create positive behavior intervention plans, support social, emotional and educational well-being for children with exceptionalities, identify ways to work collaboratively with families and other professionals in order to create and contribute to safe, respectful, and productive learning environments.

Credit Hours: 3
Co-requisite: EDUC 4032 Pre-Internship II.
Restrictions: Minimum 2.50 GPA and full admission to Teacher Education.
