BIOL 3224 - Microbiology # 4 Hours. Study of the structure and function, growth and reproduction, metabolism, genetics, ecology, and diversity of microorganisms including prokaryotes, unicellular eukaryotes, and viruses. Prerequisite: Majors Biology course with laboratory, CHEM 1223 and CHEM 1231 or CHEM 3264. Lecture 3 hours per week; laboratory 3 hours per week.
