The Nutritonal Health Certificate provides a certificate for students whose public health interests lie within the area of nutritional sciences. Students may complete this embedded certificate while enrolled in the Nutritional Science option in the Public Health, M.P.H. program.
At least 25 percent of the coursework applied to this embedded certificate must be satisfactorily completed at NSU.

- Examine existing community- and population-based nutrition programs.
- Utilize public health frameworks to assess population needs, assets and capacities that affect communities’ nutritional health
- Evaluate the role of nutrition in the prevention and management of health conditions.
